Economic: [31st October 2019] B e it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— 1 Issue of sum out of the Consolidated Fund for the year ending 31 March 2020 and appropriation of that sum (1) The Department may issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply to the service of the year ending 31 March 2020 the sum of £5,306,684,000. Power of the Department of Finance to borrow (1) The Department may borrow on the credit of the sum specified in section 1 (1) any sum or sums not exceeding in total £2,653,342,000.
